Part of my Modern Bible Stories series.The photographer is my friend Xavier Avila. The models are my lovely Shawna Corey and Efrain Villa. This was the very first piece I concepted for this series. they came out rockin! I love how Mary in this shoot is both Mary the mother of Christ in the Pieta and Mary Magdelena. Such duality in this concept. Edits on this piece were done by Efrain Villa.
